Kevin Durant's Streak Ends At 29 Games In Loss To Spurs
vs
February 24, 2010-Kevin Durant's scoring streak is over at 29 games. Durant had scored 25 points or more in 29 straight games, but tonight he only scored 21 in the Oklahoma City Thunders 95-87 loss
to the San Antonio Spurs.
Durant looked to have a good shot at 30 straight games because he had 17 points at half time. But the Spurs defense shut him down in the second half as they went on to get the win.
Manu Ginobili was sensational in this game tonight. He scored 26 points with 9 rebounds. Ginobili also had a great block on Kevin Durant. Durant was heading up for a slam but Ginobili got up and swatted it away.
Tim Duncan scored 19 points.
This game was going back and forth all the way to the end as Russell Westbrook got his scoring going in the second half. Westbrook ended up with 17 points and Jeff Green scored 19 in the Thunder loss. It was the Thunders
second straight loss after they had won 9 games in a row. They are now 33-23 for the season. Oh well, Kevin Durant will just have to start another streak and if anybody can do it, this kid can. He is having an MVP type season.
