Oklahoma City Thunder beat the New York Knicks in overtime by a score of 121-118.
Durant not only scored 36 points, but he hit some big, pressure-packed shots for the Thunder. Kevin Durant hit a game tying 3-pointer with 6 seconds left in regulation. Then, in overtime he hit
the go-ahead jumper with 16 seconds left to give the Thunder the win at Madison Square Garden.
Durant had plenty of help from his teammates too. Russell Westbrook scored 31 points, rookie James Harden scored 14 and Jeff Green had 16 points as the Thunder just keep on winning. The Thunder are now 32-21.
This game featured the first game for the newest New York Knick Tracy McGrady. McGrady scored 26 points in his Knicks debut. It was also the first game for newly acquired Eddie House and he scored 24 points.
All-star David Lee lead the New York Knicks scoring tonight with 30 points and he added 10 rebounds. Lee is a beast and is very underrated. But this night belonged to Kevin Durant and his Oklahoma City Thunder team.
