January 31, 2010-Kevin Durant is chasing LeBron James as the best player in the NBA. And you know what? Durant is not far off as he is having a monster NBA season in
2009-10.
And that continued tonight as the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Golden State Warriors by a score of 112-104.
Kevin Durant had a huge game as he scored 45 points with 11 rebounds. With tonight's performance by Durant, he moved ahead of LeBron James for #2 in the NBA scoring race. Durant is now
averaging 29.6 points per game, moving just ahead of LeBron, who is averaging 29.4 points a game. Kevin Durant is closing in on the #1 scoring leader Carmelo Anthony. Carmelo is averaging
29.7 points a game.
Durant is simply amazing and his Thunder team is getting better each day. They have a very good young team and are now 26-21 for the season. Remember when they stunk so bad and couldn't
win a game? Not any more! To go along with Durant, they have Jeff Green, Russell Westbrook, who by the way had 28 points in tonight's game, and James Harden.
As you can imagine, Kevin Durant rookie cards are highly collectible right now, and below are a few of his best that are being sold on eBay right now.
